Ferrari World Abu Dhabi's main entrance is clearly marked and directly accessible from the Yas Island road network and the adjacent car parks. Upon arriving at the main entrance plaza, visitors will encounter clearly organised entry lanes. Having any pre-arranged documentation ready before joining the queue at the entry gates will help speed up your entry process significantly, particularly during peak periods.
The main entrance features a large covered plaza area with multiple entry gates. Security screening is in place at the entrance, similar to most major theme parks worldwide. Bags and personal items will pass through a screening process. Sharp objects, outside food and beverages (beyond sealed water bottles in most circumstances), and certain other items are not permitted inside the park. Reviewing the park's current list of prohibited items before arrival ensures a smooth and hassle-free entry experience.
Once inside, you will find yourself in the main atrium — an impressive, expansive space that serves as the central hub from which all zones of the park branch out. Park maps are available at information kiosks near the entrance and are also accessible via the official Ferrari World mobile app, which provides real-time ride wait times and show schedules.
Arrive at the park entrance 15–20 minutes before the official opening time. Early entry not only means less time in the entry queue, but also gives you first access to the most popular rides before daily crowds develop.
👗 Dress Code & What to Wear
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has a relatively relaxed dress code compared to some other UAE attractions, reflecting the nature of a modern, international theme park environment. Comfortable, casual clothing is perfectly appropriate for the vast majority of the park. Since the entire park is fully air-conditioned, you may find the interior temperature somewhat cool, particularly for visitors accustomed to warm climates. Bringing a light layer — such as a thin jacket or cardigan — is a practical idea, especially for young children or visitors who are sensitive to air conditioning.
For rides, the most important practical consideration is footwear. Closed-toe shoes are required for many of the major thrill rides, including Formula Rossa. Flip-flops, sandals, and open-toe footwear are not suitable for the majority of high-speed roller coasters and are best left in a locker during those rides. Trainers or sports shoes are the ideal choice and will serve you well throughout the day.
As Ferrari World is located in the UAE, a degree of cultural awareness regarding dress is always appreciated, though the park itself is an international tourist venue and does not enforce strict modesty requirements. Photography is warmly welcomed throughout Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and the park offers countless spectacular backdrops for memorable photos — from the dramatic architecture of the main atrium to the gleaming Ferrari display cars and the impressive scale of the indoor environment. Visitors are free to photograph and film for personal use throughout the general areas of the park.
However, handheld cameras, selfie sticks, and GoPros are not permitted on most of the high-speed rides for safety reasons. Loose items including cameras and phones must be secured in the dedicated storage compartments or lockers before boarding thrill rides. On-ride professional photo and video capture is available for many major attractions, with images and videos available for purchase at the photo outlets near each ride exit. These professionally captured memories are a fantastic way to relive the experience without the safety risks of personal devices on rides.
Some areas of the park, particularly those involving exclusive or proprietary Ferrari technology demonstrations, may have specific photography restrictions, which will be clearly communicated by signage and staff. Always respect photography restrictions in signposted areas.

Mamma Rossella, one of the park's flagship dining venues, is a full-service Italian restaurant offering a sit-down meal experience in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. For a quicker option, various counter-service outlets serve sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and light bites throughout the park. Coffee bars and beverage kiosks are available at multiple points, including the ever-popular Ferrari-branded espresso stations. For guests with dietary requirements — including halal, vegetarian, and gluten-free needs — the park's dining team is generally able to accommodate requests at the main full-service restaurants.
Visit restaurants between 11:00–12:00 AM or after 14:00 PM to avoid the lunch rush. Restaurants inside the park are typically busiest between 12:30 and 14:00. A mid-morning or mid-afternoon dining strategy can save you 20–30 minutes.

Locker facilities are available throughout the park near the entrances to major rides. For the most intense rides — particularly Formula Rossa and Flying Aces — all loose items, including bags, phones, cameras, and hats, must be secured in a locker before boarding. Locker usage is typically paid via a token or card system and is charged for the duration of use.
A central baggage storage facility near the main entrance can accommodate larger items such as pushchairs and suitcases for visitors who arrive directly from hotels with luggage. It is recommended to carry only what is necessary inside the park — a small day-bag or waist pack with essentials such as water, sunscreen, a phone, and any medication is ideal. Large rucksacks can be cumbersome in busy areas and may need to be stored repeatedly across the day.
